Privacy Policy — Animata

Last updated: June 27, 2026

Animata (“the App”) is a creative movie-making app for children, developed by Ting Tze Chuen (“we”, “us”). We designed Animata to be a safe, private place to play and create. This policy explains how the App handles information.

In short: Animata does not collect, store, or share any personal data. Everything your child creates stays on the device. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no third-party tracking.

Information We Collect

None. The App does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information about you or your child. We have no servers that receive your data, and the App works fully offline.

Device Permissions

To let your child create movies, the App may ask permission to access the following — and these are used only on your device. Nothing is uploaded, copied to us, or shared with anyone:

You can review or change these permissions at any time in your device’s Settings. Denying them simply disables that optional feature.

Children’s Privacy

Animata is intended for children and families. Consistent with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the EU GDPR, we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Because the App collects no data at all, there is nothing to request, delete, or opt out of.

Third Parties

The App contains no third-party advertising, no analytics SDKs, and no social-media trackers. We do not sell or share data because we do not collect any.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy ever changes, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above.
